We operate Pray and Love, a free bi-weekly email publication that curates Christian news from around the world, enriched with relevant Scripture passages and prayers. We are registered as a sole proprietorship (OSVČ) in the Czech Republic.

Data Storage and Location

Your data is primarily stored and processed within the European Union (Germany). We have specifically chosen EU-based infrastructure to protect your data under GDPR.

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany - eu-central-1). AWS acts as our data processor under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring your data remains protected even if AWS accesses it for technical support purposes. Your data does not leave the EU.

We use the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

Purpose: Email delivery service (SES)
Location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany - eu-central-1)
They process data under their standard Data Processing Agreement

Hetzner Online GmbH

Purpose: Application and database hosting
Location: Germany
They process data under their Data Processing Agreement

Data Retention

Active subscribers: We keep your data as long as you remain subscribed
After unsubscribing: Your personal data is deleted within 30 days
